PostSubject: Forums Rules and Getting things under control   Wed May 27, 2009 1:45 pm

After all the fighting I have seen lately I have ANOTHER SOLUTION for this problem, as a guitar player I used always chat in the ultimate-guitar forums, especialy the pit(free-form discussion) now this forum is one of the largest in the world and it has numeous rules that keep it under control as a sugguestion for the admins read through it quickly and see what I mean, read the banning system , etc etc.

Its a good read on how to make this forum alot more under control and if it get bigger more stable.

http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/announcement.php?f=11&announcementid=140

3/4 down the page talks about the banning system , this is something we might have to implement , maybe not as complicated but you get the idea .

SO instead of banning someone maybe give them a warning first etc.
so check it out

well if the admin and mods do their job and implement most of the stuff in it , it will work really its bsed around the members common sense to abide by the rules and the mods and admins to make sure they do it or not , it could work but only if people are serious in following the rules
